Sing With Us — Join DCA
If you love to sing and want to make singing great choral music a part of your life, consider joining the talented members of Delaware ChoralArts for the 2026-2027 Concert Season.
DCA welcomes individuals from all backgrounds to join its choral arts family. All vocalists interested in singing with the chorus are required to audition (if you are a returning member you do not need to audition). If you wish to audition, please email our audition coordinators (auditions@delawarechoralarts.org) to schedule a date and time.
If you wish to audition for one of the paid Staff Singer positions, please email the audition coordinators.
The audition schedule for the 2026/2027 season:
- Saturday, August 1: 2:30PM – 4:30PM
- Monday, August 24: 6PM – 9PM
- Tuesday, August 25: 6PM – 9PM
If you cannot make any of these dates, please contact the audition coordinators to regarding alternative arrangements. How to prepare and what to expect at your audition is described below.

Audition Preparation and Details
- Prepared Piece: Please prepare a short choral piece of any genre, either for solo voice or specific to your voice part. Bring a copy for the piano accompanist.
- Vocalizing: The Artistic Director will guide you through a vocal warm-up assess your range and register connections.
- Discussion: We will briefly discuss how you found out about DCA, why you enjoy singing in a choir, and your comfort level with singing a different voice part if required for sectional balance.
