If you are interested in auditioning to sing with DCA, please email our audition coordinator or phone 484-883-2017 to schedule a time. Audition requirements are listed below.

Audition Requirements

1. Singers should prepare a vocal solo of moderate length with keyboard accompaniment that demonstrates vocal range and timbre. The solo may be an art song, aria, spiritual or folk song. It should be in the range of the voice part for which you are auditioning. Please bring a second copy of the solo for the accompanist.
2. In lieu of preparing a solo, singers may also prepare an excerpt from a choral work they have performed in the past.
3. Singers will be asked to sight read a simple, brief passage of choral music.
4. Singers may also be asked to vocalize to determine range.
