Rob Kennan

Rob Kennan is active as a pianist and organist, director, hornist, composer/arranger, singer, and private instructor in the Delmarva area. He has served organizations such as Joyful Noise, Wilmington Community Orchestra, Wilmington Children’s Chorus, Opus One, Northern Delaware Oratorio Society, CoroAllegro and Qvinctvs. Mr. Kennan is the Director of Music and Organist at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Wilmington, where he directs children, youth and adult vocal and handbell choirs, orchestra, and worship band.  Rob secured his Bachelor of Music Education from Shenandoah University and Master of Horn Performance from the University of North Texas, and while in Texas played horn with the Dallas Brass and other ensembles.  He has been a musician and educator in a number of states and a member of various organizations and boards including The Music Educator’s National Conference, American Guild of Organists, Handbell Musicians of America, Valley Educational Center for Creative Arts, Joyful Noise, and Wilmington Handbell Ensemble.
