Sing With Us — Join DCA
If you love to sing and want to make singing great choral music a part of your life, consider joining the talented members of Delaware ChoralArts for the winter/spring portion of the 2023-2024 Concert Season.
Works to be performed in our WINTER and SPRING concerts will include:
- Credo — Margaret Bonds (text by W. E. B. Du Bois)
- Negro Spirituals
- In Sideribus Domi — Paul Halley
- Voices of Light — Paul Halley
Auditions are now being scheduled for Sunday, January 7 by appointment between 2:00 and 4:30 p.m.

Audition Requirements
- Singers should prepare a vocal solo of moderate length with keyboard accompaniment that demonstrates vocal range and timbre. The solo may be an art song, aria, spiritual or folk song. It should be in the range of the voice part for which you are auditioning. Please bring a second copy of the solo for the accompanist.
- In lieu of preparing a solo, singers may also prepare an excerpt from a choral work they have performed in the past.
- Singers will be asked to sight read a simple, brief passage of choral music.
- Singers may also be asked to vocalize to determine range.
